When we finished our MBA and had a nice hot cup of tea. While sipping away, we asked each other:

What do we do now?”

And thus, one hot Australian afternoon in November 2009, Hypotheticorp.org was born.

Hypotheticorp is an initiative to explore the frontlines of contemporary management, strategy and marketing. We believe that contemporary business thinking is contaminated with a great deal of humbug, which we seek to expose in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

At Hypotheticorp we present valuable lessons (not ‘learnings’) on management thinking and provide a counter-point to the McManagement trend that is sweeping the globe, bringing misery to many workers and managers.

We reflect critically on popular management theory and provide alternative views. Our blog posts provide regular short insights into business related topics, while our research page contains the more comprehensive essays.

If you like to be kept up-to-date with our musings then please subscribe to our e-mail newsletter by registering on the right. We will send you an update of all new material on Hypotheticorp. If you are bored with our musings, simply come back to this page to remove your subscription. Alternatively you can use the RSS feed or join our Facebook page.
